Mental health treatment is always available to those in need and can be as simple as going to a counselor or even participating in tantrum yoga. Whether you need to just talk about everything or just scream for a little while, we are here to help and support you.

When Should You Reach Out for Help?

How do you know if you should reach out to someone about treatment for your mental health? Behavioral changes are a common factor that our providers experience when consulting with patients. Some behavioral changes include, but are not limited to:

  • Frequent emotional outbursts or mood swings
  • Withdrawal from social activities or relationships
  • Substance abuse
  • Getting into trouble with the authorities
  • Dramatic changes in eating or sleeping patterns

These symptoms may indicate that you are experiencing some type of mental health condition and should seek help. These symptoms can range from mild to severe, but with the right resources and support team, you can get back to feeling like your regular self!

What Resources Are Available?

When it comes to getting help with your mental health, there are multiple resources available. Mental health resources range from seeing a counselor, calling a hotline, or even opening an app right on your phone. With the number of mental health cases growing every year, it is important to have several resources available, and usually, an online search of your area will help you find more services that could be available to you.

Hotlines are available 24/7 to help offer you support during times of difficulty and have been around for years. Some hotlines that are commonly used include:

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline: This hotline offers support for those who are dealing with domestic violence.
  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: This hotline offers support for people who are in emotional distress. It also offers support for people who are dealing with the loss of another by suicide.
  • SAMHSA’s National Helpline: This hotline can help with treatment referrals and information to help support people who are experiencing substance abuse or other mental health conditions.
  • Veterans Crisis Line: This hotline provides support to veterans and their loved ones.

People who are dealing with mental health conditions don’t always feel comfortable talking with those that they love and these hotlines help keep their information confidential and give them the support they need. Each hotline has helped save countless lives over the years by just being there and talking to people who are experiencing difficulties due to mental health or other issues.
