McCourt, co-managing shareholder of the Boston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes the most distinguished lawyers in Massachusetts for a lifetime of achievement, leadership, and service to the legal profession. McCourt joins esteemed colleagues who have received this honor in previous years, including A. John Pappalardo and Ambassador (ret.) Robert A. Sherman. The 2026 recipients were honored at an awards ceremony Sept. 15 in Boston.
As co-managing shareholder for over a decade, McCourt has helped lead the Boston office through a period of significant strategic growth. McCourt is also chairman of Greenberg Traurig's Boston Labor & Employment Practice, where he represents a broad range of organizations in all facets of management-side labor and employment law. He has gained a national reputation for his practical, strategic approach to employment law issues. With wide-ranging litigation experience, McCourt handles a diverse portfolio of labor and employment matters in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies.
